For six years, from 2012 through 2017, People for Palmer Park held the Doggie Fashion Parade. We are excited to revive the tradition at the City of Detroit’s ScareFest, a Halloween celebration for all!

Check-in and park before the crowds arrive—we will reserve a limited number of parking spots at or near the Community Center/Splash Pad Parking Lot at 990 Merrill Plaisance.

There is additional parking on Merrill Plaisance and Pontchartrain, but you must arrive early (suggest by 3 pm). There are also designated lots nearby, but you will have to take your dog on a walk through the park. PARKING MAP below.

Dogs must be pre-registered or signed in by 3:30 pm to participate, line-up at 4 pm, and the parade begins at 4:15 pm. If you arrive early, you can walk over to the new Dog Park until the parade begins.
